Projections

My initial Soriano projections for 2008

I was reading some Cubs blogs the other day when I ran into this from Bleed Cubbie Blue.  They talked a bit about Soriano’s projections for this year.  Here is my feedback on that with my own projections:

B: 600 (fewer because of some injury)
R: 101
H: 184
2B: 45 (doubles machine)
3B: 5 (will have some legs this year)
HR: 33 (not as much power)
RBI: 89 (darn leadoff spot)
BB: 40 (can’t take a pitch)
SO: 145
SB: 31 (will run more!)
CS: 5
AVG: .304 (should hit over 300 this year
OBA: .350
SLG: .532
